Modular Kitchen is a term used for the modern kitchen furniture layout consisting of modules of cabinets made of diversified materials which hold accessories inside, which can facilitate the effective usage of the spaces in a kitchen.
Basic Kitchen Layout Types
1) One-wall. Originally called the "Pullman kitchen," the one-wall kitchen layout is generally found in studio or loft spaces because it’s the ultimate space saver.
2) Galley. This efficient, “lean” layout is ideal for smaller spaces and one-cook kitchens. The galley kitchen, also called a walk-through kitchen, is characterized by two walls opposite of each other—or two parallel countertops with a walkway in between them.
3) L-Shape. An L-shaped kitchen solves the problem of maximizing corner space, and it’s a smart design for small and medium sized kitchens.
4)Horseshoe. The horseshoe, or U-shape, kitchen layout has three walls of cabinets/appliances. Today, this design has evolved from three walls to an L-shaped kitchen with an island forming the third “wall.”
5) Island. A working kitchen island may include appliances and cabinetry for storage—and it always adds additional work surface to a kitchen.
6) Peninsula. A peninsula kitchen is basically a connected island, converting an L-shaped layout into a horseshoe, or turning a horseshoe kitchen into a G-shaped design.

To the majority of people, the wardrobe is one of the most important parts of the bedroom, second only to the bed itself. As is the case with most things though, different people require different things from a wardrobe. Luckily though, there are plenty of options out there when it comes to wardrobes. The following are the three main choices.
1)Free-Standing Wardrobes
The first of your choices is the traditional free-standing wardrobe. The biggest of this type of wardrobe is its versatility. Unlike other types of wardrobes, a free-standing wardrobe can be easily moved around a room or even a different room or house.
2)Fitted Sliding Door Wardrobes
Fitted wardrobes are often considered old fashioned but this isn’t the case at all. While older houses are likely to come with ugly, old sliding wardrobes there are a lot of modern, sophisticated options on the market right now. The biggest benefit of fitted wardrobes is the extra space you create by utilising them. Since, they are usually floor to ceiling, extra storage can be fitted above your hanging space. Fitting a sliding door wardrobe into an alcove in a room is a great way to utilise an often wasted space. Sliding doors also mean that space isn’t required for opening the doors outwards.
3)Walk In Wardrobes
Walk in wardrobes are the ultimate luxury when it comes to clothes storage and are fairly rare. For people who are really into fashion and collect a large amount of clothing over time, walk in wardrobes can be the perfect solution. A standard walk in wardrobe would have hanging and storage space on every side with perhaps a chair to one side or a bench in the middle. That being said, walk in wardrobes are the most versatile of the three options and can in most cases be designed to the perfect spec for any given user.

Kitchen accessories
Decorating your kitchen with all new branded accessories is the hallucination of every house wife. Whether it is gathering sets of utensils, electronic gadgets or other kitchen accessories, normally any woman would go crazy while selecting for giving their kitchen the desired and bright look. The accessories are available in a variety of designs, colors and textures, with a designer touch, which gives your kitchen a new decor. Whether it is simple cooking pans, dishes, tea sets, glasses, or the advanced electronic items, the kitchen is complete when it is given all these ingredients.

Cabinet pulls, cabinet handles, dresser knobs, and decorative furniture hardware come in a nearly endless variety of styles, materials, and finishes. You’ll be amazed by how a seemingly small detail like cabinet hardware can change the look of an entire room. Updating kitchen cabinet hardware, or furniture hardware is also a quick and easy update that requires few tool, minimal effort, and is relatively inexpensive. Minor kitchen remodels like replacing cabinetry hardware also ranks in the top five home improvement projects with the highest return on investment.
Cabinet Hardware 101 Sure, hardware for kitchen cabinets should play well with the appliances, fixtures, and overall style or your space, but the most important thing is that you gotta love it.
If you’re looking for some general guidelines to follow as you’re shopping for new cabinet or furniture hardware, here are some tips to consider:
• Match the hardware finish to fixtures and appliances for a clean, coordinated look.
• Try different knobs and pulls to see how they look against the cabinetry. Tones close to the cabinet color offer a more traditional look, or you can go high contrast for a contemporary feel.
• The right feel and shape is also an important consideration, particularly if you have kids or aging family members.

Kitchen appliances
Choosing the right large appliances for your lifestyle can help you find your groove in the kitchen. From finding a fridge that keeps all types of food fresh to deciding on a dishwasher to simplify cleanup, think of your large kitchen appliances as your closest allies in helping you and your family eat healthy and well. When you find the appliances that best service your day-to-day needs, selecting a style and finish you love will feel like the perfect icing on an already delicious cake. A sink — also known by other names including sinker, washbowl, hand basin and wash basin—is a bowl-shaped plumbing fixture used for washing hands, dishwashing, and other purposes. Sinks have taps (faucets) that supply hot and cold water and may include a spray feature to be used for faster rinsing. They also include a drain to remove used water; this drain may itself include a strainer and/or shut-off device and an overflow-prevention device. Sinks may also have an integrated soap dispenser. Many sinks, especially in kitchens, are installed adjacent to or inside a counter.
